Personal Information
As your professional Realtor my mission is to dedicate myself to making the process of buying or selling your home as easy and satisfying as possible, I will at all times respect the needs of each and every client I am commissioned to work for, I will remain honest and forthright and will place your best interest in the highest regard throughout the process of our transaction. In order to be a more effective Realtor for my clients I strive for excellence at all times.
I have lived in the Central Texas community since February 1998 when I arrived at Fort Hood as a communications specialist fresh out of Basic Training & AIT. I served seven years in the Army - all of here at Fort Hood in the 1st Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division. During that time I was a part of G Troop 10th CAV (Brigade Recon Troop) & 3-66 Armor (supported by 4th FSB). With 3-66 I did one tour to Bayji, Iraq from April 2003 to March 2004. I left active duty as an E-5(P) in August 2004.
After working for a nonprofit organization and then in the financial sector for a little over a year I pursued and received my Texas real estate license in January 2006. I am a member of the following organizations:
- National Association of REALTORS
- Texas Association of REALTORS
- Fort Hood Area Association of REALTORS
I have also received the following awards and/or recognitions:
- Voted Best Real Estate Agent of 2008 in the tri-county area
- Voted Best Real Estate Agent of 2007 in the tri-county area
- Certified by the city of Killeen for their Homeowners Assistance Program (HAP)
My wife Laurie and I live in Copperas Cove where we are active members of First Baptist Church. We have been married since June 2004 and we have one daughter, Brenley Hope Bishop, who was born in July 2007. We also share our home with two dogs, Faith and Angel, a Golden Retriever and Black Lab respectively.
